Candidate Statement

I am passionate about this city and issues regarding our youth, our elderly, the environment, public transport, safety, animal welfare and the future of Waitakere City.

I have lived in West Auckland for 30 years and have enjoyed being active in politics and the community with my family from a very young age. I am now 38 and live in Titirangi with my husband and daughter.

My previous experience includes working in large organisations in NZ and the USA and I enjoy working on fundraising and other projects at our local school.

In the past I have enjoyed working with the New Lynn Community Board as an advocate for the community on safer roading issues and would love to be part of the team and be more involved with the issues facing all of us right now.
